For most parents, dropping their child in a daycare is an act of trust. But the alleged horror that took place in Bengaluru has left many parents shaken and scared.
The shocking incident is reported to have taken place in the childcare facility of an IT company in Bengaluru. Videos that have since gone viral allegedly show women caregivers physically abusing toddlers. According to the complaint, caregivers allegedly placed children inside a front-loading washing machine, sprayed water from the jet spray into their mouths and locked them inside bathrooms. The toddlers seen in the videos are the children of employees who relied on the daycare facility while they were at work. Based on complaints, police have now registered a case against five women.
